Autism Awareness

Hi

A new challenge starts over on Eclectic Ellapu today and the theme this week is 

Autism Awareness

What a fantastic theme that Trisha from the purple team has chosen, as it is world autism day on the 2nd of April.

My passion is Autism I have been a manager of services for people with Autism for over 9 years and have loved every minute of it, so I was excited about making something to promote awareness, but I did find it super hard to decided on what to do, as I was trolling through the internet for inspiration I came across these 3 sentences

Always Unique

Totally Interesting

Sometimes Mysterious 

That sums my Job and the people we support up for me, 

I have made this pop up cube card from Stempeleinmaleins then didn't know what to do with it so thought it was perfect for this project, I have used a Xcut Jigsaw punch, and downloaded some free fonts.

We have just open a new office so I am going to have this on my desk, as Iam quite pleased how it turned out.

Hi All

I have never used a image from Dr Digi so had super fun looking at all the fab images, when I saw Salon Deirdery which can be found here all I could think about was the song 'Gonna wash that man right out of my hair' from south pacific.

I have used papers from papermania, with some music charms from my stash and the music sheet is printed out from the internet, and distressed with distress ink

Easter Project

Hi

Thought I would share a Easter project I have made for my Grandma, found this super idea from Stempeleinmaleins, I used the gypsy and cricut to cut the base shape, welding half circles and a square shape together, 

The image is of cause from saturated canary, I made the Daffodils on the side which you cant really see on the photos  from memory box dies. Papers are DCWV

I had so much fun making this one I made two more for my mum and mother in law too

Dragon Rider

Hi

I thought I would share a Kenny K card today made for for brother in laws birthday I have used Dragon rider, which can be found here. I had coloured the dragon in red but hubby didn't like it and wanted it in purple, so here it is in purple, I have kept the card simple Tim Holtz gear dies with some new embossing powder I bought which is aged copper from Stampendous, gear embossing folder and

New Supplies

After another busy week at work I have finally got round to sharing a card I ave made with my new crafting supplies from the GNPE last weekend, we had loads of fun and spent lots of money.

I bought one of the new images from Saturated Canary Shannon which can be found here,  The papers are a new pad I bought which are K and Company, love these papers, my super new flower dies are from Memory box, the script stamp is part of a sizzix stamp and die set and I have used forest moss distress ink

Eclectic Ellapu Baby/Pregnacy

Hi all

Its time for a new challenge over on Eclectic Ellapu, its Elisa turn to host and choose the theme form the purple team, she has chosen Pregnancy or Baby cards 

I was asked to make a new grandson card, these grandparents to be wanted to send the card to their grandson, so I searched for a cute image that would suit a baby boy. I found this cute dragon image and it was free so even better, you can find the image here

I have used some old papers from my stash, and also found a tub of these mini plastic dummies I forgot I had  and lucky enough they were blue, the sentiment is computer generated,

Mothers Day number 2

Happy Mothers day

Hope all you mums had a great day, mine was nice and relaxing, wanted to share with you my mother in laws mothers day card,  went for someting a bit different for me, no promarkers on this card for a change, the butterfly postcard stamp is from pink gem design, I used the distressed image and then used distressed inks to add colour, the papers were downloaded from free vintage digital stamps, the flower is a sizzix die, aswell as the stamp die, and butterfly stamp

I have had a week of week this week, which you would think I would have had plenty of time for crafting, but no, been so busy I have only had time to do one mothers day card, which I am sharing with you today this one is for my mum, so need to finish of my mother in law and my grandmas yet.
