Summer Flowers

Hi All

I wanted to share a card I have made using some free stamps I got of a magazine this week. They are wee stamps, and are so cute.

I have kept it simple (for me anyway), and no design papers!!!!

I have used a spellbinders die to make the aperture in the card, and the flowers are made from Tim Holtz tattered flowers, with beads glued into the middle. Butterfly's are a Cricut cut lacy labels cartridge

Summer Fun

 Morning all

Its time for another challenge over on crafting when we can

 The theme is Summer fun and the sponsors are MilkCoffee

The DT were given a image to work with I have used Tiffany swimming which can found

here 

 

The image is coloured with promarkers. Most of the items I have used have been sat in my stash for years just waiting to be used, The blue paper is papermania, the tag and circle shapes are from a docrafts box set I have had for ages. I also found loads of different coloured slide mount I forgot I had, so I added one as a stopper for the easel. The sunglasses cut is from cricut create a critter

Red White and blue

Hi hope you are all having a great weekend

There seems to be a lot of red blue and white challenges at the moment so thought I would give it a go. I have used a saturated canary image which was free, I have coloured her with promarkers, I have used some colours I never use, always seem to go for pastel/pale colours but really like how it turned out.

I have done a stepper card but you cant really tell from the photo, the papers where free from the docrafts magazine. So really this card didn't cost much to make as the flowers were made from die cuts and punches all using scrap bits of cards.

List of Promarkers used

Face- Blush. Putty, Coral, Lips- Blossom

Hair- Caramel. Cocoa, Burnt Sienna

T-Shirt- Ruby, Warm Grey 1 and Blender

Trousers- Cyan, Aegean, Royal Blue

New Grandparents

Hi all

A friend at work has just become a grandma for the first time I wanted to make her a card that was a bit different. I have used SWALK stamps for this card groovy Granny and grandpa to represent them becoming grandparents, and then inside the card I have uses special little person for the birth of their lovely grandaughter.

All images have been coloured in with promarkers and the papers are from Me to You. Die cuts are done with sizzix framelits and flowers are from tonic petals punches. I have had the little gold feet embellishments for ages not sure were they are from but I always use them on baby cards they are just so sweet, and there is a little safety pin on the lace that I don't think you can see that well on the photos.

Another Saturated Canary

Hi all

well that's another week gone and I really didn't have much time to make any cards too busy at work and also had to help my kids make their Fathers Days card. I had coloured another lovely image from saturated canary at the beginning of the week so thought I would make it in to a card today. 

I have used papers from Raspberry Road Designs that I got free from a magazine I love these papers they are so pretty, I have distressed all the edges with vintage photo, and the flowers are are cricut cut and are distressed with Victorian Velvet. The flourish is a Tim Holtz die I used a really bright yellow and didn't like it so used antique linen to dull it down. Lace from my stash.

Teachers Gifts

Hi all

Thought I would share with you the gifts I have made for my children's teachers this year. My eldest Hannah has only 6 weeks left at primary school then she is off to secondary school in September where do the years go? only seems five minutes since I dropped this tiny little girl of on the first day at school, and now she is nearly taller then me!!!

Anyway on to the gifts, I bought myself Cricut Sweet tooth boxes a while ago, and when I saw the little houses thought these would work great with some chocolates inside for presents.

Mint Chocolate Chip

Morning all

Its time for another challenge at crafting when we can, this weeks theme is Mint chocolate chip and we are sponsored this week by the wonderful kenny k

This is the first time I had used a image from Kenny K and had a hard time choosing one as they are all fantastic. I decided  in the end to use groove dude from the rock squad, this guy looks so much like my husband, and he plays the guitar too so will be a great card for his birthday

The papers used are some I had for ages and thought they would be perfect for the image they are from DCWV  the music notes are the shadow notes from Gypsy Wanderings. The sentiment is done with the Xyron design runner, the ribbon and star charm are from my stash.

Take a look at the other design team creations they are all fantastic I am sure you will all want a Mint chocolate chip ice cream once you have seen them all!!!!!

Pumpkin Card

 Hi All

While looking through the blogs I follow, this morning I came across a tutorial on shaped cards on fantabulous cricut wanted to give it ago, plus I have wanted to use this image Cinderella from Saturated Canary for while but didn't have any inspiration on what to do with it. 

I have used the shadow pumpkin cut from create a Critter thought this was perfect for Cinderella, all the other cuts are from paper lace.

Happy Anniversary

Hi All 

I was asked to make a card for a wedding anniversary which was for a Grandma and Grandad, as this card would be from a 4 year old girl I thought my new Cricut Cartridge Mickey and friends would do the job perfectly. I chose the Mickey and Minnie having a lovey cuddle cut.

I have used some papers my mother in law found me at a car boot sale, they were a bargain and all great papers. I have also used Mickey font for the sentiments.

Hi All
