Eclectic Ellapu Recipe Challenge

Hi all 

The new challenge starts today over on Eclectic Ellapu, and this week its is Andria who is hosting the challenge and she has chosen a recipe theme, which is

1 Stamped Image/Digi Image.
2 Embellishments (ribbon, buttons, flowers, charms etc)
3 Papers
And 2 Die Cuts 

I was happily making this card for the challenge, using the 3 papers (K and company) 2 die cuts (spellbinders, blossom branch and accents dies) 1 image (saturated canary) and then I forgot it was two embellishments and I got a little carried away, so I am only including the flowers and brad as embellishments the lace and gems are not really there!!!!

Keep it Simple

Hi all 

Its time for another challenge over on Crafting when we can, and this fortnight we are sponsored by Lacy Sunshine, 

The theme for this challenge is Keep it Simple

To be honest I find this so difficult, as I always want to add loads of papers and embellishments to my cards, but I have really stopped myself with this one. I have used Eleanor, Pickles and Tilly dinosaur fun and cropped the image in Gimp just to show Pickles and Tilly. The image is coloured in with promarkers, and I have used spellbinders rectangle die, the the sentiment stamps is from my stash and the paw print is embossed using crafters companion ultimate pro

Iam quite proud of my self for keeping is simple!!!!

Rock Concert

Hi all

Wanted to share a card I have been playing with, I have used 2 Kenny K images from the rock squad and wanted to put the on a stage, so after about 3 attempts, of getting the card base right, it finally, worked and the card was able to fold up flat and the stage pop out when open, wish I had decorated it differently, but have a another idea for this card which I will try at the weekend, the papers I think are DCWV

'Lovely'

Hi all

My finger is finally back in working order so I have been colouring and card making all weekend, which has been super fun, My first card is a Saturated Canary Card using a new image called 'Lovely', I have coloured in with promarkers but messed up the rest of her skirt so decided to just focus on her top half, Papers are K and company, brads are docrafts,

Fathers Day

Hi all

Its been ages since I have posted and when I finally do I am late a new challenge started over on Eclectic Ellapu yesterday and the theme this week is chosen by the fab Bonnie and she wants to see B, at least three things beginning with the letter B.

Now I will explain my absence, we have been on holiday, the first abroad holiday for my hubby and kids, we visited the Algarve and it was Fantastic, but clumsy me decided to trap her finger in a sliding window and which was fine while I was on holiday relaxing, but on arrival home I was so looking forward to getting out my promakers which I did but found I could colour for the pain in my finger, I am so upset about this, lucky enough I had this card ready before my holiday so I can share with you even though it is taking twice as long to type this post,

For this card I have used my fab new sketch pad from LOTV, and decided to do a father's day card for my father in law, as he loves fishing and boats, my Bs are Boy, boat and brown ,
