MAWTT Sketch

Hi all

It time for a new challenge over on MAWTT this weeks challenge is a Sketch, Red is the hostess this time and she has come up with a fab idea for a sketch she has used her first card she has made, so as an extra bonus all the team will also show you their first card, or first blog card, I cant wait to see them.

I have used some left overs from another card I have made using Crafters Companions Barkley's CDrom, don' usually do decoupage much but had lots of fun making this card, all the papers, topper and sentiments are from the CD, along with the stitched flowers embossing folder 

Here is my first ever blog card, don't have a picture of my ever first card,

Eclectic Ellapu Wings or Butterflies and Flowers

Hi all 

There is a change to challenges over on Ecectic Ellapu, we are now ever 3 weeks instead of of 2 and you have two challenges you can enter either the pink's theme, the purple's theme or both 

So the theme for this challenge are 

Pink- Wings

Purple- Butterflies and Flowers.

I have chosen Purples theme, as that is my favourite combination, I made my first shadow box, using a house shaped shadow box I picked up from a craft fair last ear 

It is painted with a mix of burnt umber and white titanium acrylic paint, and all the papers used are from a K and Company paper pack, Dies are Die-sire quilling dies, memory box leaf,and  butterfly punch, and a butterfly die which was free from a magazine

all the embellishments are from a box of dolls house items I have, as I have never got round to actually doing the dolls house I planned to use them for, so really pleased that I have found another use for them

Hi all

A new challenge starts today over on MAWTT, this week the theme is 

Make a box and decorate it 

My box is mede using the ultimate pro, and decorated with my favourite flowers at the moment die sire quilling flowers.

Block card

Hi all

I have the best news, I am now part of the crafters companion design team, can't believe it never thought that I would be chosen, and what a wonderful team they are. So looking forward to getting started 

Thought I would share one of my cards I used for my application 

This is a card I made for my mums  birthday, never tried a block card but thought I would give it a go using core-dinations card and a new papers from papermaina, it was a fun card to make and I followed a tutorial but can't find it now, I plan to try and work out measurements to make a larger card and will share them when I do.

gems and rhinestones

Hi All

I have used Inspector Em which can be found here, she is coloured up using Spectrum Noir, but the skin is coloured with pro markers as I can't do skin with spectrum noir  

Skin- linen, almond sun kissed pink warm grey 2

Hair- GB10 EB5 EB8

Outfit and hat-CR8 DR5 DR7

Papers are  do crafts madame tribes and chronology, using the do crafts cogs embossing folder, lots of kraft  card and vintage photo distress ink

The flowers are are made from Die-Sire Quilling dies small and large Rose and  Dahlia, using Core'dinations card, sanding block, and some table decoration jewels for the centre, that I slipped in my handbag from an engagement part I went recently, thought they might come in handy
