I have used another Manga image. I had made my daughters birthday card already but as soon as I found these images I had to make her another one. The image is coloured in with my promarkers and have used Kanban card for the backing papers, the ribbon and charms are from my stash and the the swirls are tim holtz flourish die

Crafting when we can Monochrome

Morning all

Girly Card

Hi All 

Cant believe last week went so fast,  I seem to have lots of images coloured in but no cards made last week, finally made this card today, I have used a saturated canary stamp, the paper is from Raspberry Road Design got them free from Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine

30th Birthday

Hi All

I wanted to share a card I have made for my sister big 30th Birthday. I wanted to do something really special so I have made a card using lots of images that relates to things that she likes. My sister and I have always have a love of any thing Disney, and she spent her birthday in Disney Land Paris so most of the card has a Disney theme.

Mickey and Minnie and the handbag border are from Cricut Micky and Friends Cartridge, and Mickey ears and the 30 font are from Mickey Font

I have used the Rabbit from Create a Critter as she loves rabbits and has a lovey 3 legged house rabbit called Poppy

The image of the girl is from Saturated Canary, Copica this is because she is a card marker

The Croc shoe shape has been made on the gypsy and the Winnie the Pooh jibbitz is stolen from my kids Crocs!!!!! (Crocs are her Fav Shoe)

The Spaniel dog  image is from Paper Nation, she has a love of Springer Spaniels

The Sister image and sentiment  is from SWALK, and was perfect finish to the card has she is not only my sister but my bestest friend.

First DT Post

 Morning Everyone

I am so excited (and a little nervous) this is my first DT post for my new position on the DT over on crafting when we can.

The theme this week is Fashion and Pearls and the DT were given a Digital stamp to use from the great sponsors this week Digi Doodle shop

The image is from the Fun with shoes which can be found here please check out the rest of the DT as they are showcasing the images from this collection.

I have coloured in the image with my Promarkers. The Paper is from Me to You paper pack. I have used my Tonic petal punches for the flowers and they are inked with distress inks. I found the lovely shoe punch in my stash which I have never used, I think it is a X cut. The lace, pearls and ribbon are from my stash

I so want a pair of these shoes!!!!!!!

Saturated Canary

Evening everyone

Hope you are all enjoying this lovely weather we are having here in the UK

Today's card is using a digital Stamp from Saturated Canary, Spring Time. I have just got into using these images I love  coloring them in with my Promarkers, I have used my usual flower punch to make the roses, (I can happily make these flowers all the time find it really relaxing!) Spellbinders die and lace and brad from stash. The papers are from a set I got for Christmas a few years back not sure what they are but they were from create and craft

Cricut Hello Kitty Car

Hi all

I was asked to make a card, which was for persons grandaughter , it had to be Hello Kitty and a easel card. When i use Hello Kitty i usually do the size 5 or 6 inches and put on a 8x8 size card, but as this was going to be a 6x6 easel card so i would have to do Hello Kitty smaller, which I was a little worried about. Anyway i managed it and doing the cut smaller made the tiny bits really fiddly but I am pleased with the result.

Popcorn the bear

Hi all

Have enjoyed a lovely day off today house to myself and some crafting time, well other half was in bed as he on nights, but thats a great excuse not to do house work cause it would be too noisy, so i did some quiet crafting, while watching the crafters companion ultimate pro DVD that my lovely mum has lent me. I found this great project to try out, had seen some other bloggers do this type of card and really liked it so was really pleased I found how to do this type of card on this DVD.

Sepia Effect Image with Promarkers

Hi all

When looking at Passion for Promarker Workshops the other day I came across on a tutorial on how to do a sepia effect, so decided to try it out on this lovely Sarah Kay Stamp, it took a few try's to get the shading right, but i was finally happy with this result.

 

Promarkers used are (Darkest to lightest) - Cocoa, Caramel, Sandstone, Pastel Beige, Satin

The tutorial said to start with lightest colour, which i tried but didn;t like it so i stated with cocoa and built the colours from where i thought the shadows were then covered the whole image with satin to finish.

White on White Challenge

Hi everyone

I have been having real problems with my Cricut, it wouldn't cut through any paper or card and i had just put in a new blade, anyway after reading up about it online i thought i would have to send the Cricut back, after i tried everything people had suggested. My Husband suggested trying another new blade which I did and it worked yeah!!!! and it has cut some great items out for me to put on my card i want to share with you tonight,

I wanted to make this card to enter it in the white on white challenges over on Passion for Promarkers and I LovePromarkers. I thought this would be really hard to do and was up for a challenge, but I really enjoyed trying out different ways of completing a card with no colour.

Well I am in the 3rd day of my 2 week annual leave and have finally had the chance to make a card, after spending time catching up on the house work.
