Fathers Day

Hi all

Its been ages since I have posted and when I finally do I am late a new challenge started over on Eclectic Ellapu yesterday and the theme this week is chosen by the fab Bonnie and she wants to see B, at least three things beginning with the letter B.

Now I will explain my absence, we have been on holiday, the first abroad holiday for my hubby and kids, we visited the Algarve and it was Fantastic, but clumsy me decided to trap her finger in a sliding window and which was fine while I was on holiday relaxing, but on arrival home I was so looking forward to getting out my promakers which I did but found I could colour for the pain in my finger, I am so upset about this, lucky enough I had this card ready before my holiday so I can share with you even though it is taking twice as long to type this post,

For this card I have used my fab new sketch pad from LOTV, and decided to do a father's day card for my father in law, as he loves fishing and boats, my Bs are Boy, boat and brown ,

LOTV Sketch Pad

Hi all

I treated myself to the new vintage boys sketch pad from LOTV, I decided on the boys cause I always have plenty of girly images to hand, and are always short of boys, these sketch pads are super the card is great quality 

I also bought the ticket stamp set which I have used on Kraft card along with my new Mariana, clock and fence die cant remember where the papers are from.

Love Boat

I thought spring was finally here a couple of days ago and now we have strong winds!!!!, at least it is a little warmer. LOTV Hot Air Ballon

Hi all 

Thought I would share a card I made for someones brother, I find male cards supper hard, and my mother in law (who sells my cards) keeps telling me how short she is of male cards, to sell. I have used this cute stamp from LOTV, and some scrap papers, and the clouds are cut from the Cricut basic shapes

Love boats

Hi all

Its my 3rd post of the day, I had 2 orders for anniversary cards, I decided to to use the cute love boat image from LOTV, The papers are from raspberry road designs, and I finally bought some Karft card the other day so both card have this on them. The buttons on the bottom card are from a huge stash from my Grandma that she has had for years so there is some fantastic old buttons in this collection

Hot Air Balloon

Hi All

Its been a while but first week back at work was a little hectic. Thought I would share a card made with a new LOTV stamp I bought but not used yet. 

I have used a script stamp for background, sizzix fancy circle die and sizzixlits tag die. I found this cute pad of paper, vellum and card in my stash and have used the vellum and chocolate card stock from that. Every thing is distressed with antique linen and vintage photo 

Image is coloured with Promarkers Putty, tan, sandstone, caramel and cocoa

1st christmas Card

Hi all

I have made my first Christmas card Yeah!!!! This is really early for me but now I am looking at everyone doing their Christmas cards gave me the inspiration to start mine.

I have used a LOTV stamp 'Oh Christmas Tree' I found some fabric flowers in my stash to make the poinsettia and added a flower brad bent up in the middle. The label cut is from Craft room basics.

LOTV Shop

Hi All

I went to the Lili of the Valley shop yesterday, its only a 40min drive from my house and cant  believe I haven't been until now, I went with my sister and we loved it. Bought a new stamp and some wild orchid flowers that have been wanting for ages and there was such a lovely selection I bought a few bunches.

Thought I would share a card I have made with my new stuff. The stamp is 'Love Boat' and coloured in with my promarkers, design papers are from Raspberry Road.

White on White Challenge

Hi everyone

I have been having real problems with my Cricut, it wouldn't cut through any paper or card and i had just put in a new blade, anyway after reading up about it online i thought i would have to send the Cricut back, after i tried everything people had suggested. My Husband suggested trying another new blade which I did and it worked yeah!!!! and it has cut some great items out for me to put on my card i want to share with you tonight,

I wanted to make this card to enter it in the white on white challenges over on Passion for Promarkers and I LovePromarkers. I thought this would be really hard to do and was up for a challenge, but I really enjoyed trying out different ways of completing a card with no colour.

Fairy Stamp

Hi all
I have been trying to improve on my shading using my promarkers (my fav pens) i was pleased with this LOTV fairy stamp so decided to make it in to card using the sketch and stash challenge sketch. I have also got the change to play around with GIMP as well this week so i have feathered my pictures (still needs some work)

Easter Card LOTV

Hi all
Decided tonight after a very busy day at work to make my first Easter card of the year, I have used the sketch from the sketch and stash challenge. I have used a mixture of some very old stash i forgot i had and some new stash i bought at the weekend. The yellow papers I think are Papermania but they have been sat waiting to be used for years. and the pearls and flower punch are new items.
