Put a tag on it

Hi

Its time for a new challenge over on Eclectic Ellapu, it Bonnie from the purple's team to choose the theme this week and she has chosen

Put a Tag on it

Never make tags so this was a fun project for me. I went with stamping, distress inks, and embossing powers. I have used a script stamp for the background and the flower, and green moss and rusty orange distress inks. The flower is Tim Holtz tattered floral, which I have just sold yesterday as it wont fit in my new Grand Galibur, I am going to miss this die as I have used it so much, but I have bought lots of new ones so can't wait for the post to arrive next week

The flower stamp is a free one from a magazine, and has been embossed with clear embossing powder

I would like to enter this tag into the following challenges

Heat Embossing

Hi again today
What a horrible dark rainy day, But I have had a lovely day crafting and this is my second post for today, My sister bought me Sizzix Framlit die and stamps set for Christmas, I have used the dies but not the stamps, couldn't think what to do with them. Anyway had a idea today to get out my heat tool and embossing power (which I haven't done for ages) and have a play with the flower stamp. I stamped the flower with a white ink and heat embossed with clear embossing power and then went over then entire paper with Antique linen distress ink, and vintage photo for the edges, I was really pleased with the result, and pleased i have found a great use for this stamp. I have used this as the backing paper for this card
